I thought I would feature a few of my recent outfits that I’ve
posted on social media, but haven’t yet shared here. All of
these involve some form of layering so hopefully these will help
give you ideas for different combinations using pieces that you
already have in your closet!
First up is this pretty
lilac sweater – the cable knit is so warm & cozy and
pastels are a huge trend for spring, so this is an excellent
transitional piece (I’m also eyeing the pastel colorblock
sweaters here &
here). I went down a
size for a more fitted look but if you prefer your sweaters
slouchy, I’d stick with your regular size. This also comes in a
bright lemon yellow & it’s under $35!
SHOP WINTER PASTELS
Vests are one of my favorite layering pieces because they’re
more versatile than traditional coats & jackets + they also
look great belted. I’ve owned this one for years and it’s a
timeless staple that I know I’ll never get rid of.
This classic black sweater is also a great basic & you can
get it for an extra 50% off with code PPF50!

SHOP VERSATILE VESTS
Nothing is more sophisticated & ladylike than a little
lace. When I was playing around in my closet, I realized this
lace blouse from a couple years ago would be perfect layered under
this fine-knit sweater. I love how the scalloped hem &
bell sleeves give it a whole different look & instantly dress
it up. If you don’t already own a pretty lace top, I’ve
included some affordable options for you below!
SHOP LACE TOPS
I basically live in cozy casual layers this time of year &
my go-to combination is a button down shirt (usually plaid or
chambray) worn under a soft sweater & paired with jeans or
leggings. It’s comfortable & feels pulled together + you
can add more accessories on top to add further interest. See some
of my top picks below!
